Navigate the Subconscious

with Clinical Hypnotherapy

Guiding you with the tools and training that, if embraced, will allow you to relax, let go and gain insight in achieving your goals.

- Jon Taylor

Who is Hypnotherapy for?

Those seeking natural solutions to their mental health. Hypnotherapy is an effective method for coping with stress, anxiety, chronic pain, and trauma. My philosophy is the body, mind and spirit need to work collectively sharing the same vision to create lasting change. I love working with people who have tried to approach the mind like they’ve approached the physical world. They are goal oriented, interested in self-development, and looking for a guide to help them go deeper.

  • The practice of relaxing the mind, embodying emotions, and utilizing mental agility to connect with the subconscious.

  • Guiding the subconscious to discovery of the root cause of a problem, releasing of self-limiting beliefs/emotions, strengthening one’s gifts, and bringing alignment to the body and mind.

  • Navigating the subconscious mind on your own has the following challenges:

    - Ability to hold a meditative state for a period of time

    - Embracing difficult emotion can be uncomfortable

    - Balancing the focus of the goal with the meditative state that maximizes insight and opportunity to change

A Clinical Hypnotherapist not only guides you in overcoming the above difficulties, but also teaches the tools to effectively navigate the subconscious on your own.

What does a Hypnotherapy Session look like?

There are five steps to a session: Introduction, Induction, Session, Return, and Review.

  • We will discuss your underlying problem and what goals you will have and go through a series of questions that will help us better understand the language of your subconscious. Then we will review what hypnosis is, being reminded that all hypnosis is self hypnosis and that you are the one in control. I will provide an overview of the Induction and the Session.

  • Using the answers that we gained in the introduction, I will guide you through mental exercises that will allow you to access deeper states of consciousness. Not only is this very relaxing it also promotes grey matter in the brain (aids in control movement, memory, and emotions).

As you practice these exercises you will find you will be able to drop into this mind state quicker and easier.

Once we’ve confirmed the depth that you are in, we will proceed with the session.

  • Based on the underlying issue and the understanding of your subconscious, you will let go and allow the subconscious mind to take you to your peaceful place, a place where you feel most at home. This place is where we will start and return to during the sessions. From your peaceful place you will connect into the emotion/feeling as I use guided imagery to discover the root cause, releasing the negative emotions, and allow the subconscious mind to realign with your goal.

  • When we have completed the positive change work with the subconscious, I will guide you back to your awake state of mind.

  • We will review the session and explain techniques and exercises that will reinforce connections in the brain that will aid with positive permanent changes that you are looking to create.

My name is Jon Taylor

and I am deeply passionate about the mind, its connection to the nervous system and how to access deeper states of consciousness to resolve issues such as anxiety, chronic pain, trauma, etc., and/or strengthen the mind to live in a crazy world with ease.

8 years ago I had a hypnotherapy session that changed my perspective on the dimensions of consciousness. I have now finished studying Clinical Hypnotherapy and learning how accessing deeper layers of consciousness can help us heal.

I am into breath work, (Wim Hoff), fly fishing and love to hang with my partner.

I am a Registered Clinical Hypnotherapist through the Association of Registered Clinical Hypnotherapists (ARCH), a Canada-wide accrediting registry for qualified Hypnotherapists and Counselling-Hypnotherapists.
